The Spanish Ministry of Equality has launched the portal “Equality in the Company” with the aim of promoting equal treatment and opportunities between women and men in the workplace. This resource offers companies tools and advice for the development and implementation of equality plans, providing a methodology with technical guidelines and models adaptable to the specific needs of each organisation.

Among the initiatives highlighted is the “Equality in the Company” Distinction (DIE), regulated by Royal Decree 1615/2009, which recognises entities committed to gender equality in their corporate practices. In addition, the portal provides information on current regulations, available subsidies and resources to prevent sexual and gender-based harassment in the workplace. These actions reflect the Spanish government’s commitment to fostering more equitable and inclusive work environments.
