Since 1991, Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build programme has brought together volunteers from diverse backgrounds with the goal of building stronger, safer communities. This programme provides opportunities throughout the United States for any woman interested in learning how to build or repair homes to become actively involved. Women and children are often the most affected by substandard living conditions, and these events provide an opportunity for women to take a proactive role in serving their communities.

Women Build is also a great way to engage friends and family of all ages in crucial work with lasting impact. Volunteers work under the guidance of construction professionals, alongside other volunteers and future Habitat homeowners.
