Last April, the Government presented the Strategic Project for the Recovery and Economic Transformation (PERTE) for the industrialisation of housing. A project launched by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Agenda to modernise the construction sector.
This strategic initiative is based on four key pillars: promoting efficiency, sustainability and full digitalisation of the sector; increasing productive capacity to meet the high and stable demand for affordable housing; encouraging the inclusion of women in a traditionally male-dominated industry; and strengthening the commitment to talent and training to dignify the sector and make it more attractive.
