Fundación Laboral de la Construcción of Extremadura, in collaboration with Fundación ”la Caixa”, has launched the project ‘Construyendo en Femenino’ (Building in Feminine) with the aim of promoting the incorporation of women into the construction sector.

This is an itinerary of socio-labour insertion with a gender perspective that will end in November 2025 and is aimed at unemployed women over 18 years of age, interested in working in construction. This project is expected to benefit a total of 30 women.

Construyendo en Femenino’ will combine individual and group accompaniment actions for the acquisition of transversal competences and the definition of their professional objective and will work on vocational guidance to know the professional opportunities offered by the sector through qualification. The intervention in individual and transversal competences will be combined with fully subsidised technical training in the specialities offered at the Fundación Laboral’s Training Centre in Cáceres.
