As part of the Women Can Build LatAm project, an International Alliance has been established to promote the inclusion of women in the construction sector across Latin America and Europe.
This Alliance is made up of organisations and experts in gender equality and construction who are working towards a more inclusive sector. They have joined the initiative through the signing of Letters of Support (avalaible in Spanish).
At present, 47 organisations and individuals from six different countries have joined the Women Can Build LatAm International Alliance: Spain, Italy, Chile, Argentina, Paraguay and Colombia. Together, they represent a diverse ecosystem of high-level stakeholders, including:
- Academic institutions: public and private universities.
- Private sector: entrepreneurs, small and medium-sized enterprises, and large companies.
- Public bodies and social partners: ministries, chambers of commerce and trade unions.
Taken as a whole, the platform and the partnerships generated constitute a strong and sustainable outcome that amplifies the impact of the project by providing a stable space for collaboration, awareness-raising and the recognition of women’s talent in the construction sector.
