The Erasmus+ Regional Information Session for Latin America took place online on 11 December 2024, bringing together representatives from educational institutions, organisations and stakeholders interested in participating in the opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ programme in the region.
During the session, experts from the European Commission and several Latin American countries presented the main Erasmus+ actions and recent developments, with a particular focus on the 2025 call for proposals.
The session covered the following topics:
• Capacity Building in Higher Education
• Capacity Building in Vocational Education and Training
• Jean Monnet Actions
• Erasmus Mundus Action: Joint Master’s Degrees and Design Measures
• Mobility Projects for Higher Education Students and Staff
The event also included a practical workshop explaining how to identify international partners for future projects and how to prepare funding applications under the Erasmus+ programme. This session provided guidance to organisations interested in taking part in educational cooperation initiatives between Europe and Latin America.
