On 25 April 2024, the event “Erasmus+ Stakeholders Virtual Café on Gender Equality” took place through the Erasmus Networks platform. The session was held online, bringing together participants from different European countries involved in the Erasmus+ programme.

The aim of the meeting was to create a space for dialogue among various stakeholders in the programme, including national agencies, networks and institutional representatives, to share experiences and good practices related to promoting gender equality within Erasmus+ projects and in the wider education sector. The session was also linked to the celebration of Girls in ICT Day, highlighting the importance of reducing the gender gap in technological and digital fields and encouraging greater participation of women and girls in these areas.

During the event, several initiatives and project examples were presented that support equal opportunities in education, international cooperation and participation in European programmes. The contributions encouraged reflection on the role of education and international cooperation in helping to build a more inclusive and equitable society.
