​On 1 April 2025, the Directorate-General for International Partnerships of the European Commission (DG INTPA) will organise a meeting of the Working Group on Circular Economy in Latin America and the Caribbean. This event will take place in Brussels, at the Borschette Conference Centre, Room 4A, from 11:00 to 12:45 CEST, and will also be accessible online.

The initiative aims to address investment gaps in the region by mobilising private capital and public funds. It will focus on integrating circular product design solutions that facilitate reuse, recycling, recovery, and the use of secondary materials, as well as water treatment. On this occasion, the meeting will place special emphasis on Mexico and Guatemala.

Representatives of EU institutions, Member States, financial institutions, cooperation agencies, export credit agencies, and European businesses are invited to participate. Registration is open until 21 March. Due to limited space, in-person attendance is restricted to two people per company.
