The ‘Cimientos para el Empleo‘ project has developed an innovative training resource aimed at developing cross-cutting skills through the creation of group sessions focused on rethinking stereotypes and gender roles entrenched in the construction sector. This resource provides safe and interactive spaces where participants critically reflect on and dismantle traditional assumptions that often limit women’s participation and advancement in the construction trades.

Using methodologies aligned with experiential and inclusive learning, the sessions foster skills such as critical thinking, assertive communication, empathy, and respect for diversity. Working collectively, participants develop awareness of their unconscious biases, broaden their perspectives on gender roles, and explore new avenues for equitable professional development in a historically male-dominated environment.
