Through the ‘Women Can Build LatAm’ project, the six partner organisations from Spain, Italy, Chile and Argentina, coordinated by Fundación Laboral de la Construcción, have strengthened their internationalisation strategy by establishing contact with European Union Delegations in third countries not associated with the Erasmus+ programme.

The aim of this outreach has been to inform these European bodies about the consortium’s objectives, achievements, and milestones to date, while also promoting the visibility and accessibility of the actions, activities and events organised under the ‘Women Can Build LatAm’ initiative.

This engagement demonstrates the consortium’s commitment to strengthening Vocational Education and Training (VET) and fostering international cooperation within the framework of Capacity Building projects in the field of VET. Among the delegations contacted, the partners have shared project outcomes, contributing to the enhancement of skills and the employability of women in the construction industry at local, regional, and national levels, through:

• International Contact Points in Erasmus+ National Agencies (ICP NA).
• National Erasmus+ Offices (NEOs).
• Erasmus+ National Focal Points (ENFPs).

As an example of this commitment and international alliance among the countries forming the ‘Women Can Build LatAm’ consortium, the project has been further strengthened by the signing of an agreement on the accreditation of labour competencies between ChileValora and the Spanish Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports.
